Privacy Policy
This policy explains what SOLO Software and Architecture Solutions LTDA ("SOLO", "we"), the maker of Parking Solver and of the Solo suite (Archsolver, Urban Solo), collects when you use the Parking Solver website (parking.archsolver.com), the Parking Solver plugin for Rhinoceros 3D / Grasshopper, and the Parking Solver viewer — and what we do with it. We aim to comply with Brazil's LGPD (Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados) and comparable privacy laws where they apply to you.
The short version: Parking Solver is a desktop plugin. Your models, boundaries and parking layouts are computed on your machine and never leave it. The only personal data we handle is what it takes to sell and validate licenses, plus minimal website data.
1. What we collect
On the website
- Nothing to browse. There is no account and no sign-up. The site stores small preferences in your browser's local storage (for example, that you dismissed the demo overlay, or your local roadmap vote) — these never reach our servers.
- Waitlist / roadmap email — only if you submit it, used only to notify you about the platform you asked about.
- Basic technical logs from our hosting provider (IP address, request metadata) as every website has, used for security and abuse prevention. If we add analytics, it will be privacy-respecting and aggregate.
When you buy a license
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details go directly to Stripe under its own privacy policy and PCI-DSS controls; full card numbers never touch our servers.
- We receive and store the limited transaction data needed to manage your license: your email address, transaction and subscription identifiers, payment status, billing amounts, and the license key we issue you.
In the plugin
- Your designs stay yours and stay local. Plot boundaries, solves, settings, baked geometry and .pks exports are created and stored on your machine. The plugin does not upload your project data, geometry or documents anywhere.
- License validation sends us your license key, the plugin version and basic, non-identifying environment information (such as Rhino version) so we can confirm the license is active. The result is cached locally so the plugin also works offline for reasonable periods.
- Support messages you send to us by email are kept so we can help you and improve the product.
2. How we use it
- To sell, deliver, validate and renew licenses, and to enforce license limits.
- To send service communications: your license key, receipts, renewal and security notices. We do not send marketing email unless you opted in (for example, the roadmap waitlist).
- To provide support and investigate incidents, abuse or fraud.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations, and to defend our legal rights.
- To understand the product in aggregate (for example, how many licenses are active). Any such analysis is anonymized or aggregated and identifies no one.
3. What we share — and what we never share
- We never sell personal data, and we never share your project data — we do not have it in the first place.
- We share data only with the processors it takes to operate: Stripe (payments), Google Firebase (hosting, database and email delivery for license keys), and comparable infrastructure providers, each under contractual and security safeguards.
- We disclose data when a law, court order or regulator requires it, or when necessary to protect our rights, our users or the security of the service.
4. Retention
- License and billing records — for as long as the license exists, plus up to 5 years after it ends, for legal, tax and audit purposes.
- Waitlist emails — until the thing you asked about ships, or you ask us to remove you, whichever comes first.
- Support correspondence — as long as reasonably needed to support you and improve the product.
5. Security
We apply administrative, technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the data we hold: access controls, encryption in transit, least-privilege access and monitoring. No system is absolutely secure; if an incident affects your data we will investigate and notify you as applicable law requires.
6. Your rights
Where the LGPD or comparable law applies, you may request: confirmation that we process your data; access to it; correction; anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary data; portability; information about sharing; and revocation of consent where consent is the basis. Brazilian users may also petition the ANPD (Autoridade Nacional de Proteção de Dados). Write to solo@archsolver.com — we may ask you to verify your identity before acting on a request.
7. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the effective date above and, for significant changes affecting license holders, notify you by email. The current version always lives at parking.archsolver.com/privacy-policy.
